September 26 is Kelly Dodd’s birthday.
I’m having a difficult time even writing a post about Kelly Dodd because I think she’s so freaking obnoxious. Still, there are other people on the “Real Housewives of Orange County” that I dislike even more, including Vicki Gunvalson, Kelly’s arch-rival.
In the past, I’ve actually written about the unholy alliances on RHOC. For a while, there were two Aries/Libra duos battling it out: Vicki and Kelly vs. Shannon and Meghan. That wasn’t that unusual because these opposite signs often pair up in real life (my parents, for instance). It’s a complementary relationship.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t a difficult relationship to maintain. Just as often as these two complete each other, they’re at odds with one another. I often notice that the relationship works its best when the Aries individual is a female ruled by Mars (the most masculine planet), and the Libra is a male ruled by Venus (the most feminine planet). It creates a yin/yang balance that allows a relationship to thrive.
When it’s two women in a non-romantic relationship with this sign, the Aries will almost always try to be the alpha. Depending upon other chart factors in the Libra woman’s horoscope, she’ll either defer or she won’t. Eventually the personalities fight for dominance.
There are plenty of factors to take into consideration when evaluating relationships from an astrological perspective, but some astrologers practically abandon the sun placements when they obviously contribute to the dynamics of the relationship. In this case, Kelly Dodd’s issues with her bossy Aries castmates were written in the stars.
Enough said?
