Star Struck Style

“Full Steam Ahead” is the title of my daily horoscope on astro.com. The passage describes Mars’ imminent sextile to my natal Pluto. It reads as follows:

“At this time you may have to strive very hard to get anywhere but if so, your goals when you do reach them will be more permanent and far reaching. If you are unclear about what you are doing in some area, this is a good time to look inside yourself to find out what you really want to do. You should not and probably cannot move until you are clear about your objectives. In examining yourself, you may discover hitherto unknown psychological forces that you can use to gain your ends. A considerable change in self-understanding may be one consequence of this influence. If you are at all clear about your purpose, this influence should assure you of success in any undertaking that you become involved in now. Proceed full steam ahead and do not worry. Just avoid stepping upon other people’s toes unnecessarily, because that can have dangerous consequences later on.”

What’s interesting to me about this transit is that Mars will also form a trine to my natal Chiron later today, and another sextile to my natal Uranus tomorrow. The next day, both the sun and the moon meet up on my Pluto/Chiron axis, forming a new moon just two minutes away from my natal Pluto.

It’s a unique situation to have all these planets in these harmonious alignments, but it’s even more unusual to have all this activity happening during a week that has such significance to me. This is literally my favorite week of the year. Kids are back in school. The places where I work get back into an orderly, less-chaotic routine. The weather starts to shift quite noticeably. I’m lean and tanned after a few months of bright sunshine and increased activity. I adore September.

All the same, I am feeling a little directionless and not so “clear” about my objectives. Perhaps the stars are about to show me the way in this new cycle. With Pluto so heavily involved in this week’s event, I wouldn’t be surprised if a new path presented itself.

Whatever happens, I do feel ready to move “full steam ahead” into my future. After chugging along at a modest pace for most of the year, I finally feel as if I’m gaining some momentum. Now it’s time to get somewhere . . .
