Star Struck Style

December 23 is Carla Bruni’s birthday.

I remember Carla Bruni from back in her modeling days. She was a big deal back then. I didn’t know that she was a Capricorn. All I really knew about her was that she was rumored to be one of Mick Jagger’s girlfriends.

I looked at her chart. It’s a lot like mine because we’re not that different in age. We not only share our sun sign and the placement of a few slow-moving outer planets, but also Mercury in Sagittarius and Mars in Aquarius.

I honestly know nothing about Carla Bruni. I don’t want to read too much into the photo above, but it got me thinking about my own obsession with precious gems. I wonder where that comes from? Is there something in my chart that would indicate my fascination with gemstones?

On my last trip to Las Vegas, I remember being in the Bulgari boutique and having the salesperson compliment me on my knowledge of what I was looking at. I’m sure that I would be beaming like Carla Bruni if I was holding onto that fabulous gemstone parure.

I know I’m digressing here, but that’s what I do. I suppose that Mercury in Sagittarius does cause my mind to wander. I wonder if Carla Bruni has the same problem?
