Routine (source: pexels.com)

I’m back to a somewhat normal routine starting today. However, I had a minor, outpatient surgery performed on my back on Friday that might keep me from diving headfirst into a new exercise regimen. Nevertheless, I’m quite thrilled to have Mars in my sixth house for the next few weeks. I’d like to put more energy into those endeavors that keep me looking and feeling good for my age.

It’s lucky for me that the stars are on my side for this project. I didn’t realize that both Venus and Mars will enter the signs over which they rule midweek. That should result in a “new normal” for everyone for a brief period. There should be a little less tension in the air once these two planets settle into Taurus and Aries respectively.

I hope so! I have been “stress eating” lately. While I’m not busting out of my clothes quite yet, I have been going in the wrong direction as far as my weight is concerned. With a more routine schedule, I can also introduce a little more discipline to my diet. I’m going to try to start behaving myself today, but with Mars meeting up with Neptune tomorrow, I might get off track temporarily. Still, anything I can do before the new moon on May 7 will help me out. More about that later . . .

In the meantime, I am going to try to get back into my normal blogging schedule. It’s been a long time since I’ve taken a few days off just to take a few days off. Just like my diet and exercise regimen, this is a routine that needs to remain routine. It’s good for my head to put my intentions into the universe in this manner.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some moving around to do. Sitting on my ass for two days after my operation has me feeling pent up. Let’s see what I can do without busting out of the stitches on my back!
