Star Struck Style

Transiting Jupiter forms a sextile with my ascendant today. This aspect will recur again in the middle of March next year due to Jupiter’s upcoming retrograde cycle. What’s even more interesting is that the planet will station at exactly 17°00″ Leo. My Libra ascendant is 17°39″. For about two months of 2027, I’ll be feeling this alignment acutely. “Astrodienst” has the following to say about the uncommon transit:

“This is usually an extremely fortunate influence for all kinds of social contacts. You will benefit through others, and they will probably benefit through you. If you choose to go it alone at this time, you will waste a valuable opportunity, for you will profit tremendously from team efforts with friends. I’ll be happy to be a more cheerful, gregarious person. I can be too eager to go it alone sometimes because I honestly enjoy my own company. However, I miss out on opportunities to expand my horizons when I’m a loner, especially in winter when it’s so easy to stay indoors in the cold, dark part of the world that I call home.

Anyway, this is encouraging news on a day when I’m glad to read encouraging news. I got out of bed this morning full of piss and vinegar after a week of being lazy and decadent. I had the chance to take a bit of a mental vacation all by myself, and I don’t regret doing it whatsoever. Nevertheless, a nagging voice in my head has been telling me to “do better” the entire time. I feel like I’m ready to listen to that advice.

So, that’s what I’m going to do. Tomorrow, Mercury conjoins my ascendant and forms a sextile with Jupiter, too. The stars are lining up in my favor, and I’d be a fool to ignore their suggestions to live up to my gregarious destiny. My name is Greg, after all.
