Just before the new moon arrives in a few hours from now, Mars will form a conjunction with Chiron in Aries in my seventh house. Both planets will simultaneously form a fairly-tight trine with my natal Mercury (within half-a-degree).
I’ve already resolved to just do “better” in general in this upcoming moon cycle. However, when I declared that resolution a couple of days ago, I still wasn’t feeling as if I had completely recovered from the virus that knocked me down in the previous week. My joints were sore. My muscles were stiff. My digestion was off. My sinuses were still bugging me. It wasn’t until yesterday afternoon that I started to feel like myself again.
And how do I feel when I feel like myself? Like I’m effing invincible! I can’t believe I’m sixty years old and still looking and feeling as good as I do. Even when I get sick, I’m able to bounce back with the vigor of someone a third of my age. What’s more, I feel as if know my body as well as any doctor does.
I also know that this is a great time to reiterate my focus on my health and well-being. “Café Astrology” confirms this for me in its interpretation of the biennial transit:
“We may have the opportunity to take the lead or take action on matters that lead to healing, cleansing, or guiding others. It can be a time of releasing suppressed energies. With this dynamic transit, we’re ready to address problem areas. We might take steps to boost our self-confidence, body image, and relationship with independence.”
I’m not exactly sure where I’m headed in the not-too-distant future, but I am sure that I have both the mental and physical capacity to do whatever I want to do. I’m constantly around people my age who behave as if their lives are practically over. I feel like I’m just getting started — or at least that’s what the planets are telling me. And like a doctor’s orders, I’m listening to everything they have to say.
