Star Struck Style

I don’t remember if I’ve made a point of buying American currency at an astrologically auspicious time in the past. I usually plan my vacations to Las Vegas so that I’m not visiting at an especially unlucky time, but I’m not sure if I’ve looked to the stars to plan this part of my trip.

Anyway, the next couple of days should be good for me. The sun and Jupiter are about to form a grand trine with my natal Jupiter, which seems like it should be extra lucky, right? Maybe I’ll win the lottery before I go! I’m definitely going to buy some tickets for tomorrow night’s draw.

In the meantime, I’m going to stop at the bank to exchange my money while the moon is situated smack dab between my natal conjunction of Mars and Venus. It’s an easy thing to remember for future reference. If I have good luck on my trip, I can make plans to exchange my money when this aspect recurs in the future.

The funny thing is that tomorrow is my pay day. I’ve actually saved up enough money for my trip that I don’t have to bleed my chequing account dry before I even get onto the airplane. Now that’s progress!

I’m not exactly sure what has changed in my horoscope to make me more practical with my money, but I’m glad that it has happened. Perhaps having Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in Saturn-ruled signs for much of the past few years has brought out the Saturnine part of my personality. I’m actually planning ahead for a better future. Whoever thought that would happen?

Now if I can just make it through four nights in Las Vegas without using my credit cards . . .
