January 21 is Sasha Pivovarova’s birthday.

It’s interesting that today is Sasha Pivovarova’s birthday because it’s also the birthday of Christian Dior. The Dior couture show just walked in Paris this morning, so it’s a weird coincidence that I found a photo of Pivovarova on the Dior catwalk within the first few images I pulled up while looking for a photo to illustrate this post. That got me thinking about Maria Grazia Chiuri, the creative director for Christian Dior. I’ve never been able to confirm a date of birth for the designer, but her Wikipedia page now says that she was born in February of 1964. That gives her about a two-in-three chance of also being an Aquarius.

Does that make believe that Dior is becoming more of an Aquarius label under the creative direction of Maria Grazia Chiuri? Not really. I still get Leo vibes from the brand because it’s still so showy. In fact, this morning’s show hearkened back to the Galliano-for-Dior runways of days gone by with its more elaborate staging and over-the-top styling. And plenty of labels have head designers that I assign to the opposite zodiac sign in my latest book. Carolina Herrera, for instance.

Anyway, I’m supposed to be discussing Sasha Pivovarova. The odds are that she has an Aquarius moon, too. Venus and Mars are close together in Pisces, while Mercury and Jupiter both reside in Capricorn. Everything in her chart is bundled up quite tightly within a 135° wedge.

What does all that mean? I can’t be sure without a time of birth, but I can say that she probably does give off a mix of traditional values combined with genuine artistic impulses. I know that she’s a wife and mother who has been married to a man she has been with for much of her life. She’s also a former art history student and an artist. I can see her focusing on her derailed education as she grows older. Her modeling career afforded her some tremendous opportunities, but I can see her returning to art with greater focus as she grows older. Bundle charts can indicate single-mindedness and specialization.

But I am speculating without a time of birth, as is the custom on this blog. Wouldn’t it be great to live in a world where celebrities updated their own birth info on astrotheme.com? I can dream, can’t I?
