January 24 is Kenya Moore’s birthday.
I’m an admitted “Real Housewives” addict. I even watch the bad versions of the show while the good ones are on hiatus. Right now, I’m living for “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
That’s a strange turn of events because “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” used to be my favorite. And then Kenya Moore came along . . .
I can’t stand Kenya. I’ve never seen a less self-aware individual on a reality show. She is a genuinely awful person — rotten to the core. I’m surprised she hasn’t been recruited for a job in the Trump White House. She would make a great spokesperson for the administration, addressing the press pool with her megaphone.
Her chart is sort of terrible, too. She has a tight conjunction between Mars and Jupiter in Sagittarius, with Neptune about another degree away. Without a birth time, I can’t place the planets in a particular house. I also can’t be sure where her moon is situated. She has about an 80% chance of having the moon in Capricorn, not far from her natal Mercury, but it could be in Sagittarius alongside Venus and the aforementioned planets.
It is the chart of someone who is fiercely individualistic, but also of someone who is argumentative, self-deluded and rather dogmatic in her way of thinking. I could look at a chart like this without knowing whom it belongs to and declare “Well, here’s someone who would never give an inch!”
I do believe that Moore’s moon is in Capricorn. Someone with this profound Sagittarius influence is likely to get into a lot of fights — just like someone with a Sagittarius sun sign — but she is just as likely to forgive and forget. Once a Sagittarius native makes a point, they can generally move forward with a clean slate (take Dorina Medley from “The Real Housewives of New York,” for example). However, the Capricorn moon placement is a little less-forgiving, especially when it is combined with an Aquarius sun. It indicates an individual who never forgets a slight. Someone with the moon in Cancer will behave in a similar manner, but they won’t fail to let you know that you’ve let them down. Someone with the moon in Capricorn will behave like nothing has happened while methodically sabotaging your attempts to reconcile with them.
That sounds like Kenya! One moment she’s earnestly appealing to her fellow housewives to forgive her for her bad behavior, and the next she’s calling them bitches and hos in her confessionals. Unfortunately, that’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in a nutshell. Kenya’s toxicity has poisoned the show.
I’m usually not so critical (or mean-spirited) on this blog, but sometimes I can’t help myself. There are people out there who bring out the worst in me. Kenya Moore is one of them. I’m going to cross my fingers and hope that she moves to New York soon to be with her new husband. Otherwise, I’m not sure that I can take another season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
