I’ve reblogged this post before, but it seems especially prescient again this year.
Mercury is currently picking up speed, so it won’t remain in my eleventh house for long, but this seasonal shift of both the sun and Mercury into my eleventh house and the sign of Virgo has me feeling like change is in the air. While I could become more sociable as a result, I won’t lose any sleep if I don’t. The eleventh house is a comfortable place for me, where I relax my expectations of both myself and others, and I’m not so eager to tell everyone else what to do. Maybe that makes me more appealing to others during “Virgo season” when almost everyone else turns into a critic.
Whatever the case, I’m going to try to keep my thoughts to myself during this new phase. In my original post, I declared that I “know that my self-worth does not depend upon the opinions of others.” I need to acknowledge that no one else’s worth should depend on my opinion, either — at least not for the next couple of weeks. I can get back to being a bossy know-it-all when these transiting planets enter my first house in October, right?
