I just realized that the upcoming Mars/Uranus conjunction occurs on America’s Independence Day. What’s more, the conjunction at 3°52 Gemini is one-fifth a degree away from my natal north node at 4°04 Gemini.

My chart looks great at that time, but the location of this biennial event in my eighth house concerns me. What happens in America never stays in America, and I have suffered collateral damage when the shit has hit the fan in the past.

Nevertheless, interpreting this uncommon alignment as a catalyst that points me in a new direction isn’t a stretch of the imagination. A sudden event beyond my control could put me on a path toward my destiny. The north node indicates that authentic track we all should be following in our lives.

That’s kind of an optimistic take on a transit that others might interpret as terrifying, but I am feeling optimistic at the moment. Things are terrific in my own little world, despite my proximity to America. And for that reason, I can’t wait to see how this turns out . . .
