May 5 is Henry Cavill’s birthday.
As soon as I realized that today is Cavill’s birthday, I remembered that Tom Welling is also a Taurus. That got me thinking about all the other actors who have played Superman, so I Googled them to see if anyone else shares the same zodiac sign.
I did discover a that a few of the more-notable actors are Libra natives, including Christopher Reeves, Brandon Routh and Matt Bomer. George Reeves was a Capricorn. Dean Cain is a Leo. There are some other actors who have worn the suit, but I’m not really familiar with their portrayals of the Man of Steel.
Curiously, Superman himself is a Pisces according to DC Comics. His birthday is February 29 according to the calendar referenced in this article. Of course, he wasn’t born on earth and his home planet of Krypton…
