This morning, I’m on my way to a fitness-instructor training event for the first time in years.

It’s a good day for me to get out and about. The sun is trine my natal sun, making me feel warm and gregarious. Jupiter is trine my natal Mercury for the next several days, allowing me to see opportunities everywhere I go. Venus and Mars are transiting my ninth house, urging me to look at the so-called “big picture.” Chiron is on the cusp of my seventh house, inspiring me to focus upon the social life I lost during the pandemic.

Curiously, yesterday’s eclipse cast a shadow on my self-worth, but it also allowed me to take a good look at what I actually value. It prompted me to take the steps necessary to spend my time more wisely. I waste far too much time doing nothing: playing stupid games on my tablet and scrolling through Twitter to see how everyone else is wasting their time. I could be expanding my horizons instead. I could be learning new things.

So, it’s only fitting that I’m going to be spending the day educating myself. I probably won’t learn a lot; I’ve been at this game for a very long time. But anything is better than nothing, right?

It certainly will be better than being stuck in front of a computer, or a tablet, or a phone . . .
