Tucker Carlson (source: NPR)

I was thrilled to learn that Tucker Carlson was fired by Fox News yesterday. It made me feel as if my world just got a little bit better.

Lately, that has been a theme in my life. Since half the planets in the sky ganged up at the bottom of my chart right around the time that the world shut down, I’ve been inching my way toward a better place. Everything around me has been gradually improving, including things that seem to be beyond my control. For instance, people like Donald Trump, Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson are having more bad days than good days, and that does a lot to elevate my mood and make me feel optimistic about the future.

However, I’m growing weary of the pace at which good things are happening to me. I’m a Capricorn, and I understand the adage “slow and steady wins the race.” Nevertheless, I would be delighted if some of these improvements to the world around me world happen in leaps and bounds rather than inch by inch.

By the end of July, my progressed sun will finally move out of orb from its conjunction with my natal Saturn. Perhaps when that happens I’ll start to feel the pace pick up. Right now I feel as if my attention is focused upon this slow and steady progress that is occurring around me, and yet I’m craving an abrupt change of circumstances that would speed up the process.

I know that I’m not in this alone. Everyone in my generation has transiting Uranus trine their natal Pluto at the moment, and that is another part of the reason for this underlying feeling that nothing is moving fast enough lately. I’m just relieved that I can see a change of pace in my not-too-distant future. I could use a cosmic kick in the ass to propel me into the second half of 2023.

Soon . . .
