Venus moves into my fifth house tomorrow for a three week stay.

I’m excited to have another planet vacate my fourth house. Over the past couple of years, that part of my chart has become overcrowded again and again. Now that Saturn is getting ready to move on, Pluto will be the only planet there that has the potential to wear out its welcome.

I’m going to try to enjoy myself before Saturn makes me take a more serious look at matters associated with the fifth house. I’m not afraid of Saturn slipping into that sector of my horoscope because I understand that Saturn’s influence is ultimately productive. However, it might feel like a wet blanket on my sense of creative expression at first. That’s what it does. I’m going to struggle to get out from underneath it, but I’m only going to become stronger as a result.

In the meantime, I’ll take the advice that my forecast on “Café Astrology” provides me for Venus’ transit through the fifth house:

“This is an expressive period for the goddess of love! It’s natural for you to turn on the charm without even lifting a finger. You are especially attracted to aesthetic forms of recreation. You feel a little more playful now, and love matters tend to be laced with a touch of drama. That shouldn’t be a problem — in fact, you kind of like it that way for the time being. More loving and appreciative relationships with your children may also figure now. Your powers of attraction skyrocket during this cycle. Yet, you are not aggressive in your approach to love. Instead, you attract more if you allow yourself to be pursued during this cycle. Creative self-expression of any kind is favored at this time. At this time, you instinctively know how to place yourself in the best light in order to make a good impression on others. Any love affair begun now will be characterized by good cheer, having fun, and a fair share of emotional drama!”

I’ll be happy if I am indeed able to place myself “in the best light” during this period. Some interesting developments at my place of work might make this a great time for me to shine in front of some individuals who don’t often get the chance to bask in my brilliance.

Anyway, this is just another positive development at a time when my chart already seemed to be getting better and better by the day. It’s all uphill from here!
