Star Struck Style

Despite telling myself a million times over that I wasn’t going to spend any more money on clothing I don’t need, I bought myself a swimsuit yesterday. I’m going to Las Vegas when the weather is warm, so it seemed like a good idea at the time.

To be honest, I don’t really like to sunbathe, but I do like to splash around like a spawning salmon in an outdoor pool. It’s been years since I’ve gone swimming outside, and the one swimsuit I do own was purchased when I was a lot leaner.

Anyway, buying a nice swimsuit has inspired me to try to get a little leaner for my trip. This time of year, I’m usually at my seasonal peak as far as my body weight is concerned. I didn’t really pork-out this winter, so I’m already feeling as if losing a few pounds won’t be such a big deal. I’ve got tons of energy lately and I’ve been feeling as if working out has been easier than ever.

I suppose that having Venus in Capricorn for a while has been a good thing. In a few days, it will conjoin my natal sun. That bodes well for me. When Mr. Porter delivers my new Tom Ford swimsuit, I probably won’t feeling like crying when I try it on and look in the mirror for the first time. In fact, with Venus and Mars travelling in tandem for the next few weeks (and simultaneously hitting a few significant points in my chart), I should be feeling good about myself for quite some time.

Now I only need to worry about getting some color. I might not be at my seasonal fattest, but I sure am at my seasonal whitest. My legs haven’t seen the sun for an awfully long time! I’m not sure how that hot pink color is going to look on my pasty complexion. I guess I’ll find out soon enough!
