November 15 is Shailene Woodley’s birthday.

I don’t know much about Shailene Woodley. I watched the first season of “Big Little Lies,” so I’m familiar with one of her more high-profile projects, and I also knew that she became engaged to Aaron Rodgers earlier this year. Other than that, I really don’t know anything about her.

But do I want to know more about her? The article linked above makes me believe that she’s an even bigger asshole than Aaron Rodgers. I had a look at her natal chart to see what I could learn about the Scorpio actress, and I wasn’t surprised to see so many planets in fixed signs. In fact, her natal Mars and Pluto are within half-a-degree from forming an exact conjunction in Scorpio, and both planets are contained within the first degree of her fifth house. Both the sun and Mercury also inhabit the fifth house. Many people associate the sign of Taurus with the quality of stubbornness, but I believe that Leo and the Leo-ruled fifth house is a far more inflexible place for planets to be. And if that wasn’t enough, she has conservative Cancer for a rising sign, and her natal moon is situated in the Scorpio-ruled, fixed eighth house.

Shailene Woodley is as stubborn as the day is long. I wouldn’t expect her to understand why the world is disgusted by the behavior of her fiancé. Her inability to comprehend why anyone would be upset with Rodgers comes from a deep-rooted conviction in her own beliefs that was written in the stars. Unfortunately, Hollywood is a liberal town and people like her are not going to be forgiven for being careless assholes in the midst of a global pandemic. Refusing to believe in vaccinations is one thing. Lying about being “immunized” is another. Her defense of her husband’s conduct is indefensible.

Oh well. I’m glad that I never really became a fan because it would have been sad to see her career derailed by her intractability. She can say goodbye to Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon. She’ll be lucky to co-star with Kirstie Alley and Scott Baio now.
