Star Struck Style

The Met Gala is finally happening after being cancelled in 2020 and postponed in 2021.

I’m not really that excited about it, although with Tom Ford serving as an honorary chair of the event the day after closing New York Fashion Week, I’m wondering who might show up on the red carpet in this fetching ensemble. I love this look! It’s the color of fool’s gold. I don’t like how yellow gold looks against my skin, but I could wear this. Well, maybe not that shirt knotted at the waist. I have lost a little weight, but I’m still about thirty pounds heavier than that guy.

Anyway, it’s actually a terrible night to have a party. The sun is opposing Neptune in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow. It’s likely that people will get more inebriated than they probably should at such a public event.

For the rest of us, it would be wise to lay off the sauce for a couple of days. Avoid drugs, too. Even something as innocuous as an over-the-counter sleep aid could get you into trouble. Misunderstandings over poorly-worded directions are also likely to occur. The old adage from woodworking, measure twice and cut once, could not only apply to fashion and fabric, but also to a time like this when confusion is in the stars. It’s also a terrible day to join a cult. Save that for another day.

On the bright side, Mercury conjoins my ascendant in a few minutes from now and I’m feeling much better than I was on the weekend. Also, the sun is forming a sextile with my natal Neptune while transiting Neptune is still forming a trine with my natal Neptune. Mitigating factors make this a good day for me, so I’m probably not going to follow any of the advice I just provided for the rest of you.

Maybe I’ll join a cult. Hmm . . .
