Star Struck Style

I published a post a couple of days ago discussing transiting Jupiter’s conjunction to my natal Venus. I mentioned that it theoretically should be a lucky aspect. I also admitted that it was a good thing that the pandemic has resulted in the closure of the casinos in this part of the world because I would normally interpret this uncommon meeting of the benefics in my horoscope to mean that I was destined to hit the jackpot.

Anyway, I did visit an online casino yesterday. The province where I live operates a site where you can play slot machines from the comfort of your own home. Because I know myself quite well, I have a $25 weekly limit set up on the site so that I can’t go crazy. A small limit also keeps me from sitting on my ass at this computer longer than I should.

I started playing some regular slot machines, but then something possessed me to try the video poker games. I stated by betting a quarter each hand, and then upped my bet because I was doing quite well. Then I hit the jackpot and won $800 just a few hours before the Jupiter/Venus conjunction in my chart was exact!

I immediately requested a withdrawal so that I couldn’t blow my winnings back on the site. However, I didn’t want to stop gambling while luck was on my side, so I visited this home lottery site and bought a $100 ticket. Wouldn’t that be amazing if I won a dream home package because I followed the advice of my lucky stars?

I believe that the draw is at the end of June. I suppose that there are plenty of other prizes available, too, but I would like a new house. I’m just putting that out into the universe. It seemed to work the other day when I blogged about my lucky stars . . .
