When I searched “yoga guy,” practically every photo that popped up was of a guy with a beard. Is that a thing? Is “beardy yoga guy” a fashion cliché that I hadn’t yet identified?
Anyway, I just realized that I would have been halfway through my yoga teacher training if the COVID-19 pandemic didn’t screw everything up. Oh well! I’ve got plenty of time to do yoga and practically anything else I want to do while I’m waiting to get back to work. Things could be much, much worse.
I’m still going to try to get some kind of certification to lead yoga classes, but who knows when? With all these retrograde planets sitting around my IC while the sun is on top of my MC, it’s probably wise to wait for a more propitious time, even though I’ve discovered some pretty good deals for online certification. The YMCA where I work and volunteer was going to pay for my training, though. It will likely be a while before they reschedule the program, but I won’t have to spend a dime of my own money if I wait. Plus I can use some of my earned time-off for the training. That means shortened work weeks! It’s a win/win.
In the meantime, I’m just going to continue to figure out what I should be doing with the spare time I currently have. I’m still not feeling terribly creative as far as my writing sideline is concerned. My job is still in limbo while the Y attempts to come up with a reopening strategy. Perhaps the universe will give me some sort of sign when the sun enters my tenth house later this evening. I could use a push in a particular direction, but if I don’t get one, I don’t get one.
I know that everyone is in the same boat right now, but I’m wondering if my fellow Capricorns are feeling as directionless as I am while Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are moving backwards through our sign. Is the current cosmic climate getting to you? Have you put all your plans on hold, too?
