February 17 is Denise Richards’ birthday.
When I first compiled my “Real Housewives Zodiac Dream Team,” I awarded “Friend of the Housewives” Marlo Hampton the illustrious Aquarius spot. At that time, only two other Aquarius natives had been regular cast members on any of the “Housewives” shows: Kenya Moore of “Atlanta” and Lizzie Rovsek of “Orange County.”
Since then, Denise Richards joined the cast of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” I’ve enjoyed the addition of Denise to the cast. However, I’m still not sure if I’m getting Aquarius vibes from her 100% of the time because of her long absences from the show. The fire that threatened her home (and destroyed Camille Grammer’s mansion) took the spotlight off of Denise at a time when the viewers were just getting to know her.
Nevertheless, I did get a few glimpses of textbook Aquarius behavior from the actress that are making me look forward to the upcoming RHOBH season. First of all, Denise is stubborn. People sometimes forget that Aquarius is a fixed sign and that Aquarius natives can be some of the most immovable individuals in the entire zodiac. There are rumors that Denise clashes with Scorpio native and former housewife Brandi Glanville in Season 10. The last time we saw a good fight between an Aquarius and a Scorpio was when Kenya Moore took on Phaedra and Apollo (a pair of Scorpions) on RHOA. Coincidentally, Denise also has a Scorpio moon and Taurus rising — a triple-fixed configuration!
Next, Denise is weird. Aquarius natives can be some of the weirdest people in the zodiac because they really do march to the beat of their own drum. It’s an admirable quality and the one thing that makes me enjoy the company of most Aquarius natives in real life. Most of them have no idea how weird they actually are, and that makes them so much more fun to be around than people who consciously try to change up the rhythm. Denise also has both Mars and Jupiter in Sagittarius, and those positions contribute to her what-you-see-is-what-you-get brand of individuality.
Finally, Denise is the real deal. She’s a bona fide movie star and was once married into one of Hollywood’s royal families. Sure, she’s not Meryl Streep, and her ex-husband Charlie Sheen will likely be remembered for everything but the fact that he was television’s highest-paid actor for years and years, but that’s beside the point. Not a lot of people have lived a life like Denise Richards. The more I know about her, the more I want to know about her.
I can’t say the same about Kenya Moore . . .
