Alexander McQueen (source: Vogue)

In today’s edition of “Bizarre Coincidences.” I arrived at my blog shortly after viewing a slideshow of the Alexander McQueen F/W 2020 collection on vogue.com. Seeing those clothes had me reminiscing about my last visit to Las Vegas where I stopped into the McQueen boutique and was able to try on whatever I wanted because the clerk was bored and wanted something to do. He was thrilled to put me into clothes that I was obviously thrilled to wear.

After I left the “Vogue” site, I came here and searched my previous posts to see if I had written about Venus in Pisces before. A quick search led me to a 2018 post that I had illustrated with a photo featuring a dress from McQueen’s legendary “Plato Atlantis” show. What are the odds of that happening?

Also, what are the odds that the day that Venus slips into Pisces (which corresponds by minutes to my Placidus fifth-house cusp) that I would be thinking about Alexander McQueen and discussing Alexander McQueen — a guy I describe in “Star Struck Style” as being a hybrid of textbook Pisces/twelfth house and Leo/fifth house qualities?

It’s all so bizarre. What’s even weirder is that I saw the suit that I posted above in an Instagram photo posted by Tim Blanks yesterday at about the same time Venus entered my fifth house. It got me thinking about a dream I had when I was a kid. No, really! I saw that fabric in a dream I had when I was about ten or eleven and it has stuck with me for my entire life.

Anyone who knows me also knows that I’m the first person to roll my eyes when people start to talk about their psychic abilities. Yet I don’t dismiss psychic phenomenon altogether because of these weird episodes that have recurred sporadically throughout my life. They’re more like the scene in “The Matrix” where Keanu Reeves experiences déjà vu than an actual vision of the future. I can’t explain them, but I know they’re happening.

It’s all so strange . . .
