October 16 is Jasmine Masters’ birthday.

I guess that I shouldn’t be surprised that Jasmine Masters is a Libra. The only two queens to walk off “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” have both been Libra natives. Adore Delano quit the show after being sharply criticized in the debut episode of “All-Stars 2,” and BenDeLaCreme gave up on “All Stars 3” when she decided that she didn’t need to win the crown.

Now Jasmine Masters didn’t exactly quit on “All Stars 4,” but she may as well have quit considering that she didn’t write or rehearse her stand-up act. Who gets a second chance like that and then blows it by being completely unprepared? A Libra, I guess.

The funny thing is that I didn’t even realize that there was bad blood between Jasmine Masters and Shangela during the filming of “RuPaul’s Drag Race Holi-Slay Spectacular” until I read the article linked to the photo I posted above. She walked off of that set, too!

Sure, there have been a few Libra contestants on “Drag Race” that have made it deep into the competition, but there have been just as many that have given up or proven themselves to be lazy, unprepared, or a combination of both. Chi Chi Devayne didn’t even fight to get back into “All Stars 3” when given the chance, and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo blew her second chance in Season 11 packing a wardrobe of swimsuits and leotards. That was a deadly mistake to make in a final five of prepared pageant queens.

So call it what you want: laziness; passiveness; a lack of competitive spirit — these Libra girls have made it clear that they’ve got other things to do besides snatching crowns. Jasmine Masters is no different from the rest. At this rate, a Libra queen like Ross Mathews has a better chance of winning “RuPaul’s Drag Race” than the sort of Libra queens who get cast on the show.

Prove me wrong, girls. Prove me wrong . . .
