August 26 is Eureka O’Hara’s birthday.

I don’t remember looking up Eureka O’Hara’s birthday before. I’m not sure if I wasn’t interested in looking it up, or if I just never got around to it. Hmm . . .

Anyway, I was actually watching Season 10 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” again this weekend and wondering why I never got behind Eureka like I got behind a few of the other girls. To be honest, I would have been happy with anyone in the final six taking the crown because they were all so talented, but Eureka was my least-favorite. Like the other contestants, I found her inability to keep her thoughts to herself annoying.

In theory, a Virgo native should be able to offer constructive criticism better than anyone else in the zodiac. In practice, someone with a Virgo sun and a Leo Mercury can be compelled to share their opinion on everything with everyone every chance they get. Eureka was constantly explaining to the other contestants that her input was meant to be constructive rather than critical, but after a while, they weren’t hearing it. A bitchy Virgo can start to sound like a broken record to the rest of us. It’s something that many people who share Eureka’s sign struggle with on a regular basis.

Speaking of struggles, even without a time of birth, I can confirm that Eureka has a Pisces moon. There are a lot of famous people who have struggled with addiction who have a Virgo sun/Pisces moon combo. Many of them have overcome their problems with substance abuse in plain sight of the public. I hope that Eureka isn’t one of them. Still, the potential for escapism is strong in this sun/moon combo, and the chosen vehicle for escape is often drugs or alcohol.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go struggle with this “RuPaul’s Drag Race” project that I’ve been working on. I was just looking at my own chart, and the “wet blanket” aspects that have been affecting my creative output are easing up all at once. Maybe I’ll actually accomplish something over the next few weeks. Stranger things have happened . . .
