July 7 is Katie Rost’s birthday.
Both Katie Rost and Charrisse Jackson are Cancers. What’s even more interesting is that they have both been relegated to “friend” status on the “Real Housewives of Potomac” since being cast on the inaugural season of the show.
I’ve written a lot about how the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” started out with a cast that included four Virgos, only to become dominated by four Cancer housewives. The last Virgo standing, Lisa Vanderpump, didn’t even attend the reunion show for the season that is currently airing. What’s more, original RHOBH Virgo cast member Camille Grammer, just spent the past few days on Twitter defending the way that she has dealt with the Cancer crew while simultaneously defending Lisa Vanderpump. At this rate, who knows if she’ll be back again?
So, why have Cancer women thrived on “Beverly Hills” and tanked on “Potomac”?
I’m not really sure, but the more I study the interpersonal dynamics of these women, the more I learn about sun-sign compatibility. The “Housewives” shows provide a fascinating look at how people behave differently both one-on-one and in group settings.
Anyway, I should be talking about Katie Rost, but the more I think about the relationships between these women, the more I think I need to retool my current writing project to focus more upon these group dynamics. I’ve been going back through the Bravo archive watching old reunion shows to figure out who fights with whom, and I’ve already learned a lot. Just yesterday, I watched everyone gang up on Danielle Staub during the Season 1 “New Jersey” reunion. Good times!
I know that I’ve been talking about writing this book for a while now, but I’m starting to get a good idea of what I need to do in order to make it something for both “Housewives” fans and astrology fans.
