Gina Gershon (source: Gawker)

June 10 is Gina Gershon’s birthday.

“Showgirls” holds a special place in my heart, so much so that I spent my fiftieth birthday in Las Vegas just so that I could sit at the same table at Spago where Cristal Connors told Nomi Malone “I like nice tits.” Ah, memories . . .

But I digress! Gina Gershon is one of those good Geminis, like Boy George or Andy Cohen. You know the kind? The ones that reel at the thought of sharing their zodiac signs with Donald Trump, Mike Pence, William Barr, Rudy Giuliani, Jeanine Pirro, Laura Ingraham, etc.

While the actress doesn’t post much on Twitter, when she does it’s usually to draw attention to what an idiot Donald Trump is. For that reason, I want to say that we have a lot in common. Astrologically, however, it’s a different story. We’ve actually got a lot of planets in squares or oppositions to one another.

Gina’s Gemini sun is just a few degrees away from her natal Mercury in Gemini. She also has Jupiter in Pisces and Saturn in Aquarius — both in signs over which they rule. Her natal moon is likely in Virgo, unless she was born in the last two hours of the day. Her natal Venus is in Cancer and her Mars is in Taurus.

I wish that I had a time of birth to put everything into context, but I don’t. I can say that I see this as a chart of someone who is quite exacting and methodical — not the typical Gemini native who can’t focus on one thing at a time. I can see the actress being a little closed-off because of her Virgo moon, and if she was born early in the morning when the moon was squaring the sun, perhaps even a little emotionally stunted. It makes sense that she would choose a career as an actress because she probably views the process of expressing her feelings through acting as therapeutic. With Jupiter conjunct Chiron, there’s sort of binge/purge dynamic going on here, only with emotions instead of food.

I could be completely wrong because I don’t know that much about Gina Gershon personally to make such conclusive remarks. Yet that’s what we astrologers do. I’d love to sit down and talk to her about her chart. Unfortunately, it won’t be at Spago because it moved from Caesar’s Palace to Via Bellagio a few months ago. Maybe we’ll just meet at Cheetah’s instead. The last time I was in Las Vegas, it was still there. I believe that the Versace store is still in the Forum Shops, too. Or maybe I could just do her nails sometime . . .
