October 15 is Sarah Ferguson’s birthday.

Sarah, Duchess of York, was all over the news this past week because of the marriage of her daughter, Princess Eugenie. I don’t pay much attention to the British royals, so I wasn’t really up-to-date on Fergie’s financial situation. And then I visited Wikipedia! I remember hearing that she was broke back in the day, but her financial difficulties seem to be an ongoing theme in her life.

Of course, I had to look at her chart to see what was going on. She has Saturn strongly placed in Capricorn in the second house. I can see this planetary placement as something that would cause an individual to panic in situations where financial difficulties seemed to be never-ending. It’s an indicator of reliance on a steady income. I suppose that’s why the media has always been able to portray Fergie as someone who is desperate to make a buck. She is sort of desperate.

Her Scorpio rising doesn’t help. With Pluto and Venus flanking her midheaven by mere minutes, she has the co-ruler of her ascendant and the ruler of her Libra sun elevated in her chart. I can see the desperation to attain wealth, but I can also see the luck to stumble into wealth in her natal chart. History has proven both to be true.

Anyway, Jupiter is about to cross over her first-house natal Jupiter in mid-November. I suspect that last week’s wedding is going to create some sort of buzz around the princess that is going to pay off in the very near future. We’re going to hear a lot from Fergie soon. Of course, just this morning Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, announced that she’s expecting a baby. It’s just like a Leo native to steal the microphone right out of your hand . . .
