Late tonight (or maybe early tomorrow, depending upon where you live), the full moon arrives in Capricorn.
I’m a Capricorn with a Cancer moon. Not only is the moon is in its own sign in my chart, but it’s the most-elevated planet in my horoscope. Perhaps that’s the reason that I feel empowered during this full moon. I know that the opposite configuration — the sun in Capricorn opposite the moon in Cancer — marks a time of the year when I’m almost always grouchy. Maybe it’s the planets, or maybe it’s the fact that I work in retail and Christmas makes me want to go on a killing spree. It’s probably six of one and half a dozen of the other.
Nevertheless, I like this full moon. This one in particular occurs less than a degree from Saturn in Capricorn, which is probably the reason I feel confident and secure at the moment. I can imagine that many people feel just the opposite.
Anyway, it’s a good day to seek security through discipline and planning. It’s a terrible day to lash out or overreact to something that would benefit from a patient, circumspect approach.
We Saturnian creatures play the long game. We might take two steps forward for every step we take back, but we eventually ascend. Learn from our example during this full moon rather than retreating into your own little world or going into attack-mode. Be the goat, not the crab.
In other words, be more like me. That’s probably the greatest piece of advice I’ll ever give you . . .
