I’m sure that there are probably a thousand articles on the internet already detailing the astrological compatibility of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. I could join the chorus, but synastry is not my specialty, so I won’t pretend that it is. Instead, I’ll discuss the hallmark of Meghan Markle’s natal chart.

Markle has a conjunction of the moon, Jupiter and Saturn in Libra. Many individuals born around the same time share the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction, but not a lot have the moon in the mix. Markle is also a Leo with a Leo Mercury. If her time of birth on astrotheme.com is correct, the two planets sit in her first house.

So what does all this mean. Markle isn’t just a born diplomat, but a born Princess. She has the chart of someone who will step into the role with both grace and dignity. I’ll go out on a limb and predict that she is going to be remarkably popular, even rivaling her British-born counterpart, Kate Middleton.

What I do see in her future is meaningful charity work: the kind her mother-in-law engaged in before her untimely death. Princess Diana’s work to bring attention to the horror of landmines is a big part of her legacy. I can see Markle doing something equally relevant and similarly enduring.

There are going to be plenty of people who dislike her just because they can. Markle shares her sun and Mercury in Leo with Barack Obama. That combination can result in a sort of natural charisma that others may perceive as smug. It’s not smug, but it is self-assured. Weak-willed individuals may read that sense of self-assurance as a threat. To be honest, it is their problem, not hers.

Anyway, I do wish them luck. I believe that they’re going be fine together because there is no reason to believe that they don’t belong together. Keep in mind that I haven’t read all the other astrological interpretations of their charts yet. Who knows how I’ll feel after that?
