Julianne Moore (source: E!)

December 3 is Julianne Moore’s birthday.

I don’t get Sagittarius vibes when I look at Julianne Moore, so I had a look at her natal chart to see what was going on in the sky on the day she was born.

Moore has her natal moon in Gemini, and a Gemini rising sign (if I am to believe the time of birth provided on astrotheme.com). That wasn’t what I was expecting to see, either. However, I wasn’t surprised to see three planets (Venus, Jupiter and Saturn) in Capricorn.

She has a rather conservative look that is elegant and perfectly appropriate for the events she attends. In that respect, she reminds me of Michelle Obama. The First Lady of the United States is a master of that sort of style. The other “celebrity” who comes to mind when I think of the decorum exhibited by Michelle Obama is another Capricorn: Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.

This is another one of those instances where I wish that I could confirm the birth times of the people I discuss on this blog. My grand theory of how certain factors in a natal chart affect one’s mode of self-expression would be better served by accurate information. Michelle Obama’s chart has no birth time and Kate Middleton’s chart on astrotheme.com has a birth time that contradicts the birth time provided on other astrology sites. I’d like to believe that the Duchess has a Capricorn sun, a Cancer moon and a Libra rising because that would make her my astro-twin, but I can’t be sure.

Anyway, back to the birthday girl. I see the Capricorn influence in Julianne Moore’s chart because she looks as if she belongs in the upper echelon of Hollywood royalty. She dresses like a First Lady or a future Queen of England. When I look at her, I get a sense of her stature as an actress rather than a notion of what she would look like if it wasn’t for her well-deserved fame and fortune. It’s a Capricorn vibe, and something that makes her stick out like a sore thumb amongst the other Sagittarius celebrities I’ve been discussing over the past couple of weeks.
