November 20 is Sean Young’s birthday.

Sean Young has an interesting natal chart. I’m not going to assume that the birth time provided on astrotheme.com is correct because I have no idea where they get their information. Nevertheless, even without placing the planets in the houses, I can confirm that she has Venus in Libra, Mars in Scorpio, Jupiter in Sagittarius and Saturn in Capricorn. It’s very likely that she also has a Cancer moon. I don’t know if I’ve ever looked a celebrity’s chart where I’ve seen as many planets placed in the signs that they rule over.

I’ve read that people with the best charts often don’t live up to their potential. Sean Young has led a rather controversial life, battling alcoholism and other demons. I don’t really want to get into that, but it does sort of confirm the notion that a lack of tension in the natal chart doesn’t necessarily indicate a charmed life.

I do want to mention that her opening scene in “Blade Runner” presents an iconic vision of Scorpio beauty. I don’t believe that there is a better representation of what I consider to be classic Scorpio style. If you want to look like a sexy, femme fatale robot from the forties transplanted to an eighties version of the future, you won’t hear me complaining.
