November 19 is Daria Werbowy’s birthday.

I don’t know enough about Daria Werbowy’s personal life to make any broad assumptions about her. For that reason, I didn’t really have any expectations when I clicked on her natal chart. Wow! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better example of a bucket chart!

A bucket is a chart with all the planets tightly-grouped on one side, and a single planet — the handle of the bucket — on the other side. In Daria’s case, the bucket handle is the moon in Taurus, and the rest of the planets are quite evenly-spaced through Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius.

The planet that represents the bucket handle is the significant planet in a chart like this. It becomes the first thing on the list of priorities an astrologer would use when attempting to fashion a profile. Unfortunately, because the bucket handle is the swift-moving moon, there’s not that much I can say. Without a birth time, I can’t place the moon in a specific house, nor can I be sure which of the three planets in Scorpio (if any) is forming an opposition to the moon.

Nevertheless, it’s a cool chart. It would be interesting to know if Daria herself feels more like a Taurus than a Scorpio. It wouldn’t surprise me if she did.
