Star Struck Style

After a couple of years of shunning America, my boycott of Las Vegas may be coming to an end. Last night’s election gave me hope that I might return to my favorite place in the world once again.

I’m not going to jump the gun and book a vacation just yet. The same Trump supporters that ruined my birthday on January 6, 2021, have plenty of time to fuck everything up. But I am hopeful that the tide is turning, and that Pluto in Aquarius is living up to its promise of returning power to the people.

Anyway, I probably won’t go until next October because it will probably be too hot to go once I’m confident that a civil war or some other sort of insurrection won’t derail my plans. That’s fine, though, because I’ll have plenty of time to save up. Also, the longer I wait, the less I’ll have to worry about some crazy border agent asking to check my social media before they let me through customs. My Bluesky feed is 99% Trump hate, and I’m proud of it!

But I digress. It’s good to feel as if the pendulum is finally swinging back in the direction of sanity and civility. I’ve been working hard to live a stress-free life, and current events haven’t exactly been helping me to achieve that goal — until recently, that is. Good things have been happening in my own little world, but now they also seem to be happening in the world-at-large. Now if we could only vote out the assholes that run the province where I live.
