The last week has been interesting for me. The Virgo new moon in my eleventh house arrived, and I thought that I’d be eager to get off on the right foot during this auspicious astrological phase. Yet I was strangely unambitious last week. I can attribute that to the sun’s annual opposition to my natal Chiron. It highlights my vulnerabilities, and I spend a few days questioning everything I’ve ever done.
However, there was a silver lining to this dark cloud that loomed over me. I literally dropped all the other plans I had made and declared to the universe that I needed to stop being so hard on myself.
I’m doing just fine, and this post that I published last year on this day reminds me that I can drive myself a little crazy aspiring to do better in the future rather than just enjoying the moment I’m living in.
So, I’m going to resolve to enjoy the week ahead. I’ve got the house all to myself all week long, more free time than I’ve had in weeks, and almost nothing planned to stress me out. Virgo season might augur a great time to get organized and schedule every moment of every day, but that’s not going to be what feeds my soul in the current cosmic climate. Something else is telling me to pull back, and to take things as they come. Jupiter is about to form a sextile to my ascendant from the tenth house in a week from now. It could be that. Who knows?
I do know that I’m feeling much more at peace with myself this morning than I’ve felt for several days. I’ve definitely left that “unrewarding” chapter of my life in the past, and I need to remind myself that I’m no longer trapped in a routine that feel like it’s killing me. Things are fine in my own little world, and I have everything I need to be a happier person.
It’s going to be a good week . . .
