This transit that I wrote about almost four years ago recurs this weekend, followed by Venus’ conjunction with my natal Uranus on Monday. Curiously, I do have credit on my mind. However, this time around I possess just one card with a much lower balance and a self-imposed lower credit limit. I can’t get into the sort of trouble that I have experienced in the past.

Nevertheless, it’s sale season on the fancy clothes I like to buy. Sure, I didn’t need that J.W. Anderson sweatshirt, but it was 75% off!

On the bright side, I’m feeling terrific: strong, energetic and ambitious. I’ve already picked up a bunch of extra shifts in August that will keep me from feeling like I can’t keep up with my spending habits. What’s more, I don’t really buy anything that isn’t on sale, and the summertime deals are coming to an end.

It’s an interesting time to have my natal Pluto/Chiron axis simultaneously squared by Mars while Venus conjoins Pluto and opposes Chiron. It’s quite a magnificent alignment to occur, especially as the sun is about to meet up with Jupiter in my tenth house. I’ve gone from feeling lazy and apathetic to feeling as if I can take on the world.

Perhaps I need to guard against overconfidence in the upcoming week. I do know that I have stopped myself from opening my big mouth a few times over the last couple of days, and I’m sure that having both Jupiter and the sun in my tenth house is providing me with a sense of discretion when I probably need it the most.

Now if I could only apply that discretion to my compulsive shopping problem . . .
