Star Struck Style

I’ve made it clear several times on this blog that I won’t return to Las Vegas until Donald Trump is deposed. I haven’t wavered from that decision, and it’s likely that I never will.

However, I’m starting to feel as if the end is near for the Manchurian Pumpkin. He’s certifiably insane, and the depth of his incompetence is finally starting to sink into the heads of many of the cult members he has amassed over the last several years.

Anyway, I was walking through a Winners store a couple of days ago when I came across a large Tumi suitcase for about one-third of the regular price. Even though I have no plans to travel in the immediate future, I bought it as an offering to the universe. I hope to travel again someday, and I really hope to return to Las Vegas.

With the sun still transiting my ninth house, the idea of getting away from it all has been on my mind. But with three other planets in my tenth house (Mercury, Venus and Jupiter), I know that any vacation I take needs to be planned out well in advance. I also am feeling connection between “status” and the part of my chart associated with my Capricorn sun sign. I’m not going to take a vacation just to take a vacation. If I’m going to travel again, I’m going to travel in style — with all my beautiful things packed away in my Tumi suitcase.

So, I’m going to work hard at saving some money over the next several months. I don’t like going away in summer because the weather here is quite lovely, but maybe I’ll be able to afford a vacation sometime in the new year. Perhaps that vacation will be to Las Vegas, or maybe I’ll find somewhere else to have a good time. The only thing that is certain right now is that I’m feeling as if things are changing for the better.
