The sun opposes my natal Neptune this coming Tuesday, just as Venus will be approaching its annual conjunction of my natal Jupiter. What’s more, the moon will be transiting Pisces at the same time, and transiting Neptune will be mere minutes away from a trine with my natal moon.
It’s quite likely that my ability to focus on anything in particular will be somewhat compromised this week. However, I’m quite worried about succumbing to my urge to go to the casino. I haven’t been to Las Vegas since Donald Trump was reelected, and I haven’t visited the casino near my house since my birthday weekend. I’m dying to go have some fun, and I have been lucky before when the stars have lined up in this manner. Still, my “Café Astrology” forecast for the sun/Neptune opposition worries me:
“It’s easy to get lost in fantasy at this time, as you feel somewhat without direction and less able to face everyday realities. Your willpower is low as you tend to stray from your goals and temporarily lose focus. It’s difficult to formulate — or stick to — clear goals during this transit. Attracting unusual, confusing, or even disturbing situations is likely due to an inner need for more glamour in your life. Misconceptions abound. This is not a good time for any financial undertaking or formal agreement, so plan accordingly.”
I’m going to need to be on my best behavior. I do have a few things planned during the week that will make it a challenge for me to run away from my “everyday realities,” and that’s probably a good thing. But as the saying goes, “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” I might be unwilling to listen to reason for a few days, and I don’t see anything in my chart that tells me that my willpower will be victorious in this situation.
I guess I should consider myself lucky that the stars don’t line up like this every day . . .
