I woke up this morning in a bit of a panic. For some reason, I decided that I was not going to make enough money this month, so I immediately logged onto the schedule portal at one of my jobs and picked up a couple of shifts. Soon afterwards, I did a deeper dive into my finances and figured out that I’m going to be just fine. Nevertheless, it’s not going to kill me to work a few more hours. In fact, I sort of relish the opportunity to have a little more on my plate a month after my surgery. I’m ready to get back to a more-demanding routine.
The funny thing about this episode is that the moon is in the last degree of Pisces as I compose this post. This isn’t the first time that I’ve noticed myself behaving irrationally when one of the swift-moving planets is inhabiting the last few degrees of Pisces. I get strangely panicky and self-reflective, and then it takes me a good minute to calm myself down after I take a good look in the mirror and realize that I like what I see.
There is a 3°20″ wedge of my horoscope where the last few degrees of Pisces overlap with my sixth house, and it’s that part of my chart that appears to exacerbate my paranoia. Thankfully, having the outer planets transiting those degrees hasn’t caused me to panic; Saturn and Neptune both spent a considerable amount of time there during their recent retrograde cycles. It’s only the sun, the moon and Mercury that really drive this phenomenon.
Thankfully, this blog has provided me with a place where I can not only reflect upon these recurring episodes in my life, but also a place where I can dismiss my more irrational flights of fancy. I’m a Capricorn; I don’t need to be behaving like the sky is falling every time I look up. I can leave that to the actual Pisces natives, right?
