I’m back from Las Vegas. I had a wonderful time. Thanks for asking.

I do have an interesting story about my time there. I was at the Aria having breakfast when the new moon eclipse was just about exact. I noticed the stitches in my mouth from my dental surgery were unraveling, so I walked back to my hotel and snipped off the loose thread. That made all the other stitches come out just as soon as I began brushing my teeth. It was time for them to come out, anyway, so it was no big deal.

Anyway, that was a strange way to spend my time during an eclipse — especially an eclipse that was almost exactly conjunct Chiron. This tooth that I had removed had been a source of problems for years, and getting it out of my mouth finally was a blessing in disguise. Chiron is associated with the concept of healing in a more figurative sense, but in this case it was a literal influence. I feel as if I’m on the other side of this chronic health problem.

Curiously, I made a few more appointments for health care just before I left for my vacation while the sun was still in my sixth house. I have a check-up with a new doctor this week, and next week I’m booked for a minor procedure on my back. Even though this week’s new moon/solar eclipse occurred in my seventh house, I’m going to focus on my health for the next few weeks. I had a bad fall in December that impacted my fitness routine. Between that and the winter weather, I haven’t been my usual energetic self. I need to get my energy levels back up. Astrologically speaking, it makes sense to embark on this new path now.

So, that’s what I’m going to do. The stars have spoken . . .
