Star Struck Style

Venus conjoins Neptune tomorrow in Pisces. If I wasn’t already daydreaming about my trip this coming weekend, I certainly will be during this brief transit.

However, I won’t be the only one whose mind is wandering. Mercury just turned retrograde yesterday, exacerbating the problem. Distraction is in the stars.

If you have the opportunity to put off more important tasks — especially anything detail-oriented — you might want to wait a day or two. If you can actually get away for the day, take that opportunity. A pleasant diversion can be especially rewarding tomorrow. Go for a massage or a manicure. Try on clothes that you can’t afford. Go see a movie in the middle of the afternoon.

I have to go to work, but I’m well-staffed and I can spend the day doddering along while I accomplish some not-so-urgent chores. I get the next day off, and I was planning on buzzing off my hair, laying in the bathtub, painting my toenails, and deciding what to wear in Las Vegas. That sounds like a perfect way to enjoy the lingering effects of this annual transit.

I only work three more shifts until I go away, and if I can believe what the stars are telling me, the next two are just going to be a blur . . .
