I’m planning on winning the lottery today. The transiting north node is about to conjoin my part of fortune at 29°49″ Aries, and I can’t imagine a different outcome for this rare transit.

Actually, I’m not really expecting much from this event. As I’ve mentioned a million times on this blog, I’ve never found much use for the part of fortune in predictive astrology. To be honest, the same goes for nodal transits. I’ve been paying attention to these points for years and I’m still waiting to be dazzled. I can pinpoint the exact day when a Mercury/Neptune square makes me behave irrationally, or when a Jupiter/Venus trine makes me feel overconfident with my money at the casino. I practice predictive astrology every day of my life, so this isn’t just a matter of me ignoring forecasting techniques that I don’t understand.

Still, I would be thrilled if the universe proved me wrong. I’m going to stop to buy some lottery tickets before I go to work this afternoon. Wish me luck! I’m not going to have another day like this for eighteen more years . . .

    • Honestly, nothing happened. If you poke around my blog a bit, you’ll discover I’m no fan of using nodal transits in predictive astrology. I’ve never had much use for the Arabian parts, either.
