I’m looking forward to Valentine’s Day this year for a few reasons. First, my tax slips typically arrive mid-month, and I’m expecting to get a big refund this year. Next, I need to buy some new orchids for my house, and growers in this part of the world often step up their production to coincide with the holiday. Finally, Saturn exits Pisces and conjoins Neptune in Aries.
I’ve already published a post or two that explain why I believe having these two planets in a cardinal sign will be good for me. I’m feeling confident for what I can bring to this new astrological era, even though I’m not sure that I have much faith in the rest of the world. But in general I’m feeling happy, healthy and eager to see what happens in my own little world over the next several weeks. Jupiter is going to stall in the sky opposite my natal sun throughout the spring. While that can be a “feel-good” aspect that thwarts the ambition I would like to cultivate at this moment in time, I also get way too optimistic when Jupiter forms favorable alignments in my horoscope. I need to remain disciplined and continue along this path I embarked upon last year around this time.
The aspect will influence my conduct through mid-April. The first week of April already marks a time when I’m considering making some changes to my routine to allow myself to explore new opportunities. However, I’m already feeling somewhat impatient — like these changes can’t come soon enough. I need to watch my tendency to jump the gun, since I already called 2025 “The Year of False Starts” on this blog. Nevertheless, direct, deliberate action will begin to show results from Valentine’s Day onward. I won’t have to be so cautious once Saturn joins Neptune in Aries.
Until then, I just need to enjoy the things that have made me a happier person over the past several months while I remind myself that good things come to those who wait, like tax refunds and half-price Valentine’s Day candy.
Soon . . .
