Eclipse (source: Canadian Space Agency)

The new moon/solar eclipse in Aries on April 20 is going to occur at 29°50″ — just two minutes away from my part of fortune.

The interesting thing about that is that I was already predicting big changes for myself professionally. I had underscored the last third of March as a make-or-break time for me at work. What actually happened caught me off guard. Something broke, but it wasn’t me.

I’m expecting the next couple of weeks to be eventful as my superiors attempt to sort out the mess they’ve made for themselves. Whatever happens, I’m quite prepared to stick it out unless someone tries to make me the fall guy in this situation. I’m a Capricorn, not a scapegoat, and I won’t take the blame for anyone else’s mistakes.

On the other hand, this second new moon in Aries might augur the start of something good. I’m a collaborator who lives to bring order to chaos, and the significance of having an eclipse occur in my seventh house conjunct my part of fortune is not lost on me. I know that I’ve dismissed planetary transits to the part of fortune on this blog in the past because I have yet to be convinced that they have any relevance to my day-to-day life. However, this transit involves the actual planets used to calculate the part of fortune: the sun and the moon. If there ever was a time for the part of fortune to prove its worth to me as a valid astrological tool, it would be when this eclipse arrives right on top of it.

The rest of my chart is looking quite favorable on April 20, too. On that day, transiting Mercury will form a trine to my natal sun, transiting Venus will form a trine to my natal Mars, transiting Mars will form a trine to my natal Saturn, and transiting Jupiter will form a sextile to my natal Jupiter. I’ll be experiencing a wealth of cosmic blessings, so I hope that I will see something tangible come out of this rare alignment. I guess I’ll find out soon enough!

Where does this second new moon in Aries occur in your chart? Are there planets or points in your chart that are highlighted by this coming eclipse? Let me know in the comments section or on one of my social media pages.
