Cara Delevingne (source: Facebook)

After rereading yesterday’s post about Saturn in Pisces, I came across this photo of Cara Delevingne on the “Vogue” Facebook page. It strikes a chord with me because it reminds me of how I was dressing in the early nineties around the time that Saturn moved into Pisces. There’s just something so fresh about this look considering the try-too-hard era that we’re about to leave behind us.

I’m tired of false eyelashes and drag-queen makeup on nineteen-year-old girls. I’m tired of cosmetic surgery and hair extensions. I’m tired of head-to-toe designer looks and logos on everything. I feel as I’m exactly where I was when I turned my nose up at what we were calling “fashion” almost thirty years ago.

Obviously, I’m not the only person in this boat if the fine folks at “Vogue” are feeling the same vibes. And I can’t say that I didn’t see it coming because I’ve been predicting it for a few years now. I’m just glad that we’re finally here. The pendulum has swung to other side. It’s going to be interesting to see how quickly the designers adapt to these cosmic influences. If the fall/winter shows that just wrapped up in Paris yesterday are any indication, a few of them are already there.
