Star Struck Style

We all have a couple of interesting days ahead of us!

First, Venus forms a conjunction with Neptune in Pisces tomorrow. It’s a dreamy, romantic aspect that will have many people seeing what they want to see in a myriad of situations. Imagination is in the air, but so is self-delusion.

The next day will see the sun forming its annual conjunction with sober Saturn in Aquarius. The energy of this aspect is exactly the opposite of the Venus/Neptune conjunction. It’s a cosmic slap in the face to wake us up from our daydreams.

I’m lucky that I don’t have to go to work on Thursday during the latter event. I’m not terribly afraid of the alignment between the sun and Saturn, though. Nevertheless, I am worried about being around people who cannot handle the reality check that often occurs when these two heavenly bodies come together. The last thing they need on a difficult day is someone like me asking them “And what did you think was going to happen?” No matter how much fun it is to be that guy, I don’t want to be that guy.

I actually have my progressed sun within a degree of my natal Saturn at the moment, so I’ve been living with this energy for a while now. To be honest, it’s a great place for this Capricorn to be. I’d rather have my feet on the ground than my head in the clouds. In a couple of days from now, I’m sure many of you will feel the same way.
