Crowded House (source: NPR)

Mercury moved into my first house a few minutes ago where it joined both the sun and Venus. All three planets will remain in that part of my chart until November 2 when Venus moves into my second house, followed by the ingress of the other two into my second house by the end of the same week.

But before these three heavenly bodies move onward, they’ll be joined by the moon early Monday morning, followed by a new moon in Scorpio on Tuesday just about the time I’ll be getting out of bed.

What does that mean for me to have all these planets crowded together in my first house? Well, with the sun and Venus conjoined already, the new moon in my first house is going to shine a light on those superficial first-house matters that have always mattered to me more than they probably should. In a nutshell, first house concerns according to “Café Astrology” include the “image we project to others, the first impression we make, how we start things, our defense mechanisms, our relationship with our immediate environment, our general outlook on life, and our physical appearance.”

For you, this stellium could mean something completely different. Odds are, with three of these planets within about half-a-degree of each other, they will be in a single house of your horoscope. Mercury will be about ten degrees away, so it is likely that it will also be in the same house as the other three planets. If you use the Placidus system of house division like me, that won’t necessarily be the case. Still, having a new moon occur while the sun and Venus are already conjoined is a notable event that can augur good things for many of us. It’s a terrific time to utilize the power of the new moon to embark upon Venusian ventures. That could mean starting a new beauty regime, a healthier diet, a savings plan, beginning a new relationship or even taking the steps necessary to revitalize an old one.

All of this depends upon where this stellium occurs in your chart and whether or not Mercury is an outlier in this particular scenario. If Mercury is in the same house as the other three planets, the power of this event will not only be amplified, but the area in which you need to focus your energy during this uncommon alignment of planets should be even more obvious to you. Trust your instincts to lead you in the right direction. The stars are telling you the truth right now about what you need to do in order to transform your life so that you can embrace a more-promising future. Don’t ignore emotional considerations (especially with the moon and Venus involved), but don’t allow emotional attachments to overrule your gut.

Where is this meeting of planets occurring in your chart? Are you ready for a fresh start during this significant cosmic event? Let me know in the comments section or on one of my social media pages.
