The sun enters Leo this afternoon. As usual, I’ll be stuck behind a counter at work.

Anyway, Leonine energy is shiny and bright. It can make many of us feel outgoing and eager to step into the spotlight. It’s a good time of year for me because the sun will split its time between my tenth house and my eleventh house — places where I feel somewhat empowered during solar transits.

I would like to shine a little brighter during this transit, and I probably can. My garden becomes less time-consuming in mid-summer, so I can probably spend my days off doing something other than trying to keep up with my beloved-yet-exhausting hobby. I need to enjoy myself a little more. I need to get out of the house and show off some of the fabulous things I own. What’s the use of having a wonderful wardrobe when the majority of what you own never leaves your closet?

So, I’m going to make a point of getting out and about. Right now, all I can think about is my Vegas vacation in September. Still, I can probably find plenty of ways to enjoy myself before I get a whole week off to enjoy myself. I just need to get out into the sunshine where I can soak up the power of the sun while it is auspiciously-positioned at the top of my chart.

Where is the sun in your chart this time of year? Does its movement into Leo make you feel as if it is your time to shine, or do other astrological factors prevail? Let me know in the comments section or on one of my social media pages.

The sun moves into Leo tonight where I live, and I’m headed to Las Vegas in October this year, but otherwise this post from last year on this day expresses how I’m feeling at this moment. I need to get out more! Venus’ retrograde cycle in Leo begins today, though, so maybe the stars will provide with a second chance to shine this summer. I guess I’ll find out soon enough!
