Here’s the cover of a book called “Ninth House” I found while searching for an image to illustrate this post. I have no idea what it’s about, and I probably won’t find out in the near future because of all the planets transiting my ninth house.
The sun, the moon and Mercury are currently transiting that part of my chart. The more planets that gang up in my ninth house, the more scattered I feel. Sure, I can concentrate on one thing for a while, but it doesn’t take much to distract me this time of year — especially when Mercury is transiting the last ten degrees of Gemini. Reading a book is the last thing I want to do right now. I can hardly sit still!
On the bright side, I actually have a deadline this week for a writing project that might amount to a paying gig. I just have to admit to myself that I can’t do a “deep dive” into my work right now. After about an hour at the computer, my mind wanders somewhere else and attempting to write anything becomes a rather futile effort. Thankfully, my current project doesn’t require me to go too deep.
I’m also cosmically-blessed this week because I not only get an extra day off from work on Friday, but I also get to play catch-up at work on a few ongoing projects because this is our annual “maintenance week” where a large part of the facility is closed down to prepare for summer. I’m not going to be chained to my desk while wondering how I’m going to get everything done.
Is there a particular part of your chart that makes you feel as if you’re out of your element? Do you loathe a certain time of the year because the swift-moving planets tend to gang up on you at that time? Let me know in the comments section or on one of my social media pages. If I’m not too distracted, I might have a look at what you have to say!
