Star Struck Style

“Hungry for Change” is the title of my astro.com horoscope for tomorrow. It refers to Uranus’ imminent trine to my natal sun. The aspect goes exact tomorrow and then repeats in December during the slow-moving planet’s retrograde cycle. When Uranus goes direct in the new year, it will station within about half-a-degree from an exact trine, meaning that its influence should be something I will feel acutely for quite some time. In fact, the first three months of 2023 will be profoundly affected by this aspect.

The aforementioned horoscope reads as follows:

“Sometimes it is very upsetting to make fundamental changes in your life. But at other times you feel that change is creative and exciting, and this is one of those times. You are eager for change and hope it will lead you to a life that is more exciting, interesting and alive. You look to new ideas and new experiences for insights that will make your life more real. Consequently this is an excellent time to begin studying disciplines that will allow you to develop and grow as a human being. Such disciplines can include encounter or group therapy, yoga or other spiritual disciplines, astrology or any other subject that allows you to see yourself in a new light and to grow in consciousness.

You may encounter new relationships, new friends or even a new love that will allow you to be yourself more than ever before. Your everyday being is compatible with change now, and you are hungry for it in every possible way.

This is a good time to adopt a new physical regimen — a new exercise program, new health habits or a different kind of nutrition — that will allow your body to grow and develop. Break out of old physical habits that have been damaging your body. You might conceivably be able to quit smoking or drop some other physically debilitating habit at this time.

You will be successful in every way that you reach out to encounter new experience. Do not allow conservatism or insecurity to deprive you of this great opportunity. Now you can make changes that will make your life better later on.”

Curiously, my career prospects took an unusual turn over the past week. While I can’t really go into detail about that subject yet, I was surprised to learn that my current position isn’t the dead end I thought it had become. In fact, the opposite is true. What’s interesting to me is that Uranus is back in my Karmic eighth house, and if there’s anywhere that I should be experiencing good Karma, it’s exactly where I’m at today.

The funny thing is that Uranus transits have genuinely surprised me like this before. Uranus is personalized in my chart because it resides in my eleventh house. In addition, my 17° Libra ascendant is considered to be a Uranian decan when modern planetary rulerships are considered. I would normally deem an outer-planet transit of this nature to be more “generational” than “personal.” However, in this case, I need to really pay attention to how this distant planet affects me. It has shocked me before and it will likely shock me again.

Anyway, I’ll share some more news about this exciting development as soon as I can. This aspect has only just begun to change my life. It will be interesting to see where it takes me over the next several months.
