I’m feeling quite grounded lately. Not only do I have grounding transits occurring in my horoscope, but those transits are mirrored by grounding influences in my progressed chart, including the progressed moon’s ingress into my tenth house and progressed sun’s conjunction with my natal Saturn.
Curiously, I had a conversation with a coworker the other day where I mentioned that gardening is like meditation for me. This time of year I’m already happier because I can get back outside and get my hands into the dirt. I mentioned to him that there is scientific proof that some components of garden soil can affect an individual’s endorphin levels and improve the mood. Just a moment ago, I read the article linked above that claims “grounding” oneself in the garden also has physical benefits.
While I’m not sold on the idea, I won’t dismiss it, either. I’ve got a bowl of crystals sitting beside me at this computer just in case their mystical qualities happen to improve my quality of life. I wholeheartedly believe in astrology because I believe that there is far more to the universe than what we see. For that reason, I’m not going to turn my nose up at the idea that grounding is a real thing.
Nevertheless, with Jupiter in my sixth house for the next several months and the aforementioned progressed planets making me feel even more grounded, I believe that this feeling is here to stay for a while.
